Applications are closed for Law.

How to join

Upon enquiring you will be added to a WhatsApp group of which you will need to sign up to People Soft UCT. Once signed up you will then be able to select the clinics you would like to participate in.

Law

How to join

SHAWCO Law is an application-based society. In order to join you will need to apply using a motivational letter. As an exclusive society, they hold the right to deny your application.

How to join

Frequently Asked Questions

1Do I get credit?
If you join SHAWCO Law you will accumulate hours towards your Dol3001x. However if you join Education and Health, you will gain UCT points.
2Is it free to join the society?
Education is free, Health you will need to pay a standard R85 fee to join. SHAWCO Law is application based and you will be evaluated as it is a exclusive society.
3Can I cross-pollinate over to other societies?
Only Law students can join SHAWCO Law. Only Health students can join SHAWCO Health. Applications to join SHAWCO Education is open to both Law and Health.
